Applicants will need to fill out an online application via the link: http://portal.immigration.gov.ng and book an appointment via the booking portal in order to obtain an appointment for passport capture in Canberra, Australia.
Note:
Applicants are advised to pick appointment dates between Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30AM to 12:00PM on the Immigration Booking Portal and attend the High Commission with their appointment slips.
On the day of the appointment, applicants are required to bring along the following:

| Old passport |
| Photocopy of Data Page of Passport |
| Printed Completed Online Application Form |
| Printed Payment Slip |
| Pre-paid trackable return envelope (we suggest a Platinum Express envelop) |
FOR MINORS (Children under 18 years):
| Letter of Consent signed by both parents |
| Birth Certificate |
| Photocopy of Data Page of Passports of both parents |
FOR FIRST TIME E-PASSPORTS:
| Guarantor’s form duly endorsed by a Justice of Peace (JP) or other persons who can certify legal documents |
CHANGE OF NAME DUE TO MARRIAGE:
| Marriage Certificate |
| Letter of Consent from husband for change of name |
| Photocopy of data page of husband’s passport |
| Nigerian newspaper publication of change of name for marriages contracted in Nigeria |
LOST PASSPORT:
| Extract of Police Report |
| Affidavit for loss of passport |
